Located in the lobby of the historic Athenaeum on Mass Ave, this open but shockingly cozy space can't help but put you at peace as you gaze at all the sculpted antique woodwork that makes up the bones of this ancient building. Coat Check uses Tinker's beans and their Ginger Latte menu is, in my opinion, the best in the city. A ginger latte and chocolate croissant (made from scratch, onsite, amongst a myriad of other tasty and occasionally vegan/gluten free pastries) is truly my happy place.
