Roastery Location

517 is the predominant local roaster in the Capital Area. They offer seasonal single-origin beans and year-round blends. Single-origin coffees include some medium roasts but primarily light roasts, all of which vary seasonally. There is a good selection of low & high altitude coffee, and a visit for a pourover is definitely recommended. The two main blends sold throughout the year are Ransom & Cedar St. Breakfast, both roasted lighter than a typical espresso blend. The tasting room/café is at 6030 S MLK and includes seating for socializing and working.
