Founded in 2005, Temple Coffee Roasters is Sacramento's defining specialty coffee institution. What started as a single cafe has grown into eight locations across Sacramento, Davis, and Folsom, all serving coffee roasted in-house with a focus on seasonal single-origin lots and direct trade relationships. Their rotating espresso menu showcases coffees from Ethiopia, Guatemala, Colombia, and Honduras, with tasting notes that read like a fruit market. Temple takes education seriously too, offering brewing guides and training that have helped raise the coffee bar across Northern California.
