Café Winok

Part cafe, part neighbourhood canteen in the Schaerbeek district, named after the owner's dog. Nicolas Clarebout roasts Congolese and Indonesian coffees in-house, and the food menu runs from mixed-veg crepes to croque madame and country sausage with gratin dauphinois. Exposed brick, terrazzo floors, and a loyal crowd of dog owners complete the picture.
